Happy to say I baught my 1st home. I can honestly say I was stressed during the entire process. A realtor really wont let you go wondering to far or to long without them. I respect that we was looking through a home that was currently occupied and still had possessions of the people who remained. But I was worried about if the house would come with attachments. Or spirits some spirits hide and its really hard to tell unless it is a nagative energy I usually always can pick up on those. So I asked my friend Shawny who has the gift of sight to see if she could pick up anything. She told me what I had thought no negative energy. Some spirits but not bad. What do you expect the home is 100 yrs old?. There is bound to be some kind of impression. So I was sleeping day 3 on living in my home. I woke at about 7:30 am watched some TV and something came right beside me a male presence with a southern accent and said "are you leaving yet?" It suprised me and after talking to the spirit telling it I was the owner of the home. I felt a peace, So day 5 I was watching TV and heard from the laundry room couging.. I do not think its the same man this man sounds older and like he had Emphysema possibly died in the home with it. I have been here now almost 1,month things has not died down, No pun intended But just light coughs and speaking doors opening and closing cuboards doing the same. Lights turning on and off. But I believe they have learned to except me and maybe some day my spirit will live on in this house? Either that or I am hunting you all down and haunting the crap out of you.. I will leave updates here on my experiances and take photos hopfully catch something I will also upload EVP's if I get any good ones.

Yay for having a new home! That's interesting about the spirits. I'm glad to hear none of them are negative entities.

So glad that you have found your place in your new home!!! You are right about the old man in the laundry room. I see it as a make-shift bedroom that he "lived" in until he passed. This was, I would say late 1940's, early 50's. It feels to me more like an accident at his work place... possibly even a war related injury. There is most defiantly more then one spirit in your home and also on the grounds. Hope everything continues to go well in your transition!!! With Love and Care... Shawny

Thank you Ladys,. I have something in my home that is making me nauseous and dizzy when I see it. It is the basement door from the Kitchen it has a old chain lock on it the one that open the door a little but someone has to be on the other side to remove it?. It also has a round black bell thats broken looked almost like a bell someone would activate so someone in the upstairs could let them out.. I really had not even noticed this devise untill I was going down the stairs and touched it. I immediately got a vertigo feeling and nauseated. Is this the old man or something else? Or maybe not the lock or bell but the stairs behind them someone might have had a spill on? Although I am positive its this old devise should I take a picture of it and post it so you guys can get a better look?

I haven't seen a lock like that since I was a young girl.
I did get a "to lock" feeling. This could mean to lock out or to lock in like you suggested. There was something there that they wanted to keep seperated. Maybe that's the way they thought they could.

If you have an EMF detector that would be great, a compass could be used to see if you have a spike in that area, after getting a baseline throughout the house. You wouldnt have a numeric reading, but you can see it the compass goes wonkers in that particular area. Wiring issues may need to be checked if so.

I went to real estate school in 2008,but never took the state test to get my license. I always had a feeling of dread, like something bad would happen if I went into the wrong house. Just a weird feeling, but strong enough to keep me from pursuing real estate as a career. Is that just silly, reading too many scary stories? I would not buy a house without taking someone sensitive with me. I do not want to pay a mortgage on a place I did not feel secure in. I would not want to sell a home with negative energy to anyone, especially if children were involved.

Angelica, I hear ya!!! Although... the unstoppable Investigator in me would relish the thought of having such access to so many properties. However, it would be a double edged sword because... If I did, "Sense" something, I would WANT to get to the bottom of it, see it through and I know that I would not be able to. Not to mention the fact that there is always the danger of bringing "something" home with you at any given time. Sadly, I have personally known individuals that this has happened to. I would not be able to handle selling a home that was, "infested or otherwise", either... especially to a Family with children. So I am right there with you on that point!!! Always follow your gut feelings, they will never steer you wrong!!! Hope to talk to you SOON!!! Take Care!!!

Home does need rewired it also has 7 phone lines crossing over it.. Possiblity it might have caused a fear cage.. But I still want the door burned for good measure. Having a friend of Hubbys come get it he has bonfires he can burn it for me.. Also heading to a Pow Wow soon I will recharge myself spiritually there I always have in Pow Wow's. It is funny cause Hubby is scared saying what will they do? What is a Pow Wow? LOL. I think his German blood holds him back alot from other cultures. I usually dance my ass off and buy my weight in crafts and food...
