When we stop marveling at the amazing curiosities in our world and lose our child like wonder...we become dumb old boring grownups. I think I probably de-railed our thread and would like to point out that I respect all belief systems and my opinions are my own, not intended to be foistered on others. My spiritual beliefs bring me great comfort and joy. I like to share that positivity with everyone, because our belief systems all differ in ways, but surprisingly similar also. : )

@ Angelica777: The Bermuda i feel is a tear in dimensions and time a gateway that needs to be fully discovered and carefully. Sadly we haven't the right sort of technology to do that... ><;; There's also the Dragon's Triangle which is just below japan look it up, its not as known but it is worse than the Bermuda as it has sunk whole cargo ships in its wake. That's where i discovered something called a USO an "unidentified submersible object" so alien air crafts that come from the very sea! Don't be so sure that Big Foot isn't out there... I have seen it with my own eyes... Upright and much taller than my dad (he's 6 7 in height). I had been lagging behind a group of friends and neighbors close to the Fraser River here in Canada. Lovely trail with lots of trees and critters. I had looked back to see this large creature walk across the trail in one massive step. There was no way that it was a bear as it was completely humanoid in shape. I didn't stick around as it scared the hell out of me. Also the reason why you don't find bones readily is because they wouldn't die in places we would think of. They would find a resting place away from everything and hide as they pass on, just like any animal, sentient or not, they will find a resting place and die there.
Ah don't disclose vampires so quickly. During work i had been ringing this ladies order in (i work as a cashier at Superstore), and i could FEEL the history off of her and she looked only 50 in years. I could feel much more than that, like she had seen a hell of a lot. Like when you walk or see cobblestone streets you feel the age the history they hold, thats what i felt with her (only you don't walk on her lol). She was gorgeous and had fangs! And she didn't at all seem the type who would get her teeth altered...
Werewolves i find to be very elusive. Hunted down in Europe for years (wolves in general) there are no more so i think the Werewolf is an endangered species and you may see one if you're very very lucky.
As to that thing i saw.... it was bald, had pointed ears and a very thin nose... its eyes were yellow i think..... and very thin, could see its ribs .... wore no clothes but had no real gender..... Long fingers...... very evil.... *shrugs* Oo
I agree as well that when we loose our wonder and intrigue we loose ourselves into the monotony of this place and add more to the masses who want nothing more to do with the stuff. Its sad to see and feel things diminishing at a fast rate, creating a larger and thicker wall from the unknown.
@gypsymoon: Honestly i can see how things would get very far fetched but its interestings to find people with similar views on things that it feels like you're on the same wave length. I had that once... but it was torn away from me... The person changed and turned into someone that i didn't know..... It saddened me a great deal..... I think that there are many people who sees things on the same wave length. If that's the case then does that mean that they're tuning into something that is different from say someones beliefs or stand points, or is it something else?
@ Angelica777: Heeh! You and i are similar in that respect. I too respect all other beliefs and mine are my own. I love what i have come to believe in and know and its like a huge security blanket that makes me happy. I just wish i could share it because it almost begs to be told. A story that needs to be known... Kind of thing.. *shrugs*

There is a veil a membrane fallen over humans eyes. People can see beyond the veil in glimpses or very clearly depending on the persons openess to the beyond. Some people sit with blinders on there entire life refusing to see anything going on around them. They choose this cause its comfortable familiar and not scary. Also the fear that whats beyond this realm will not be the same as what they were taught. Fear of the unknowen is crippling and blinding. Its up to you personally if you choose to walk away from seeing or allow someone to take the mysteries and wonder from you.

As a whole, I believe that society needs to stop demanding that our children grow up so darn fast. That we as adults need to stop telling them that this and that do not exist, that those bumps in the night are "just the house settling". We also need to start listening harder to what our children tell us and not pass it off as childish imagination or play. I am living proof that people, especially children CAN see and hear spirits and or worse! I am living proof that these gifts can grow with you and I also know that children can be pushed / forced to "stop seeing and believing!!" Just my own expierance...

I agree Shawny I see how parents might think that sheltering might be the right way to go. But I also see how not informing them of spirits even fairys or something that they can understand is a wee bit dangerous also. I think there needs to be a balance and thats what the parents are for. But these new parents I dont have a clue about the ones who think everyone on the team should get a trophy? or that santa and the easter bunny is society trying to push christian values down the throats of our youths? I dont think a child looks into it that much they see Bunny and Basket and a Jolly man in a beard who comes down the chimney and bring them toys. there not seeing the birth death and ressurection of a deity unless you teach them and connect the dots. As a pagan I do not get offended by the allegory vague connections. Should you inform you kids there is a light and dark side? Good and Bad or that everyone doesnt win all the time? I believe so.. So why not try to explain negative spirits and positive ones? Glad to see you around sis I missed you.

Becarful if its a Golem Angelica is right a Golem can look like that or Blobbish noncoporial vague outline of a heavy set person. Golems are created and spawned and conjured to reak havock on people. there purpose is to destroy what it was told to or the target it was told about. Once its released it takes a very powerful person in there faith to make it go away.
