Thank you Sis.. I think we need you to post a little something on the Topic of Native American graveyards. Lately I have received alot of emails from myspace and other places of people who have had "Investigators" tell them not only do they have spirits in there home the cause is Native American people have been Killed or buried on there soil. I have told about 5 people in about a months time to contact you via Myspace.. Due to the fact I am not going to give your "personal email" out to anyone we do not know. I am afraid though they might be a bit embarrassed to bring this up maybe to a Native American so instead have person fears someone is possibly haunting there soil. I know this is a controversial subject but I believe the best way to help with this type of situation is meet it head on. As you have taught me its better to Meet situations and give it back to the Earth then hold them into yourself where they can manifest in different ways. I just want a little light shed on this situation I know we believe all "People" of all races can be restless.. I just think alot of investigations when they cannot determin whats going on will use this type of salution or foundation and/or add it to there analysis. Making this type of fears continue. Thank you Shonee for your Wisdom and Insight and help!  |

I would be happy to put something together regarding Native Burial Grounds, hauntings, etc...
I truly hope that people would not be afraid to ask a Native person questions about these matters, but I can see where some might have a difficult time of it.
I can and will assure everyone that I will listen with an open mind and give them any and all information that I have. If I do not have it, then I will make every effort to find it, or get it for them!!!

Thank you, Because as a Gypsy people have an image or stereo type that goes along with what I am. I have had people scared to ask me about Hex's or something about the heritage just because they didnt want to sound insulting. I do not know if you have noticed but many paranormal boards the main or hot topic is "Help I believe me home was built on a Indian Burial ground" or something similar. Remember that one lady sayng she went to AZ and in a antique trading post found a arrow head? She said after that "evil things" started happening.
I think at this point 95% of those arrow heads that get sold were never used to begin with just created for tourist.

This subject matter is very interesting. I would like to know more about native spirits, their uses, strength and origins. I have had some experiences with what seems to be a watcher spirit. My friend's house is always uncomfortable. I dont go there nearly as often because of this.
Good to see yalls posts, very informative and comforting to have available. : )

I am sure Shawny is the bast person for this type of question although Native Americans in a way are similar to Gypsies because each tribe has a different mythology and culture. There are "562" Federally Recognized Indian tribes in the United States. That is only the US not including Canada. Watchers: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchtower_(magic) These beings hold back the veil and protect there used in alot of Witchcraft and Evocations. There called upon to cleanse and dwell and anoint Witch Circles and the Witch herself. But in general many spirits will watch you. It is up to you to figure out if the spirit is Watching you Or watching Over you. There is a big differance. If you feel you have a Watcher elemental spirit around then my next question is have you been dabbling in Witchcraft or anyone related to you been dabbling? Might be a elemental spirit bound to you. By someone else. |
