Arrrrrrrrrrgh! Sometimes I'm forced to wonder in some circles if I'm the only one with a spine. Either that or just plain defiant and/or insane. One lady I know, let's call her A, has a business. There's another lady who let's call C has one. C has allegedly been stealing other costumer's dresses, accessories, and what not to pass off as her own. A wrote me about this and said she had not confronted C about it because she's afraid. A has been receiving nasty messages from people claiming she is stealing C's items. And yet A will still sell said items to C. When I asked why she just doesn't cancel the orders A said because it would start a war. Allegedly C has friends and family who will buy the items and pass them on to C. C allegedly leaves negative feedback and does anything to get even because of a slight. A also argues there's no way to prove that which is true. However, harassment can be proven. I tried to polietely point out that people who were giving into C's alleged demands were just enabling her behavior and someone needed to take a stand. A shot back with I'm "stupid", "don't know what you're am talking about", and a fool if I didn't give into C. I refuse to give into any type of blackmail like that. If it means I don't sell then I don't sell. Sometimes, somewhere, someone needs to take a stand. I had similar behavior done to me in college and yet I survived that. Sometimes people just need to use the spines they were born with.

I haven't heard anything recently about the whole incident. Maybe it's been resolved or she's just not talking to me. I'm going to try to teach myself how to embroider. This is going to be an adventure. Edited to addYow, it hasn't even been a week and they're already coming out with replicas and knock offs of Kate Middleton's engagement ring! I've seen everything from the CZ stones to the real deals going for huge amounts of money. I have a sapphire ring that was given to me several years ago. I don't wear it as I'm afraid of it being lost or stolen. If I decide to get creative I can always buy a CZ ring of sorts and wear it for costuming...or a fake engagement ring if the need arise.

On December 16th it'll be one year since Mom's had her bone marrow transplant. She's got a doctor appointment on the 15th about getting her hip drilled and the biopsy done. Despite all medicine pointing towards it being negative she's terrified and won't calm down until she learns the answer. We're all worried about it. Any prayers, well wishes, things like that are greatly appreciated. I am in!!! (Thats the day before my birthday!!! ) Yaaay! ;D I'll get to your reply about the concept of time fairly soon. I'm in a bit of a rush but I haven't forgotten you.

She's doing as well as can be expected, I'd say.
She's got a doctor appointment on Wednesday to discuss her options. She wants to go forth with treatment and another bone marrow transplant as soon as possible.

She sounds like a fighter, a good attitude is a plus in treatment from all I have heard. That must be where you get it from. : )

Heh. I get it from both sides of the family.
My great-great grandmother Lillian was sent to Australia for telling a judge to go pound sand. Not in those words, of course.
