Although there is many types of Psychic abilitys and many different types of Divination. I would first like to caution the seeker.
There are many scams and conartist out there. But it is a true ability that is a transfer of energy from one object,person or spirit to the Seer. Many Seers/psychics see things differently, Some might see images,others might hear things or smell things aka Orlfactory. Some might need a "divining tool" Help for better clarity Here is a "Small list" of Divination methods I found on the Net

Some seers are compelled to draw images they see for translation many do not even know what the image will be untill it is done. Others spirit write writing down random words and thoughts to commune others can pick up on energys from anothers writing. But these gifts and glimses into the unknown should never be taken for granted or exploited to make a fast dollar. Instead we should be helping others . Also remember Psychic images change and we are humans we will and do translate or see sometimes not the truths but the wants and needs of the Subject. In other words we do make "honest"mistakes..
