I am not saying this is main stream or all Christians believe in Zombies but a number of Christians are misunderstanding the concepts of the rapture bodies coming out of graves and becoming airborn assending to the heavens or Lazarus walking the streets.
My other half said his Mothers church is talking end times and zombies. They are claiming that is what the apocalypse is Zombies! after Jesus and the Rapture the apocalypse will usher in Zombies and armageddon will be the fight back for earth Jesus himself will ride a horse kill all the zombies and demonics through war between heaven and earth.
Matthew 27:52-53 reads: and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
My question is shouldnt giving out a Ministry license be more diffacult? should Ministers have to have say at least five years in Theology and archeology and science also a psych exam and aptitude test? I am serious.. I think we should have strict guildlines on who can be a minister I mean if people are willing to give there enternal souls to something like religion shouldnt they be getting the best teachers in this dept? instead of someone with a GED at best and some online ministry degree?

I have heard that about the idea of the rapture bodies. There was one woman who died jumping out of her car because she thought it was the rapture.
History Channel did a documentry on that and instead of bodies floating up to heaven they showed the bodies disappearing then and there.
I've heard of the "zombie apocalypse" ideas but nothing that Jesus will go and kill all the zombies.
The general idea I was taught growing up is the Anti-Christ's army would be living beings who are following him. Jesus would then return as a warrior king, raise and blow his horn causing the death of the Anti-Christ and all his minions.
I don't see anything wrong with minsisters also having to study psychology like you suggested. Psychology is indeed an important thing. Studying definately needs to be done.
I'm not familiar with the current guide lines for becoming a minister but I'm curious in what goes in it.

Yeah this is more of a new view on Christianity some ministers in the midwest and I am sure other places from what I have read on the internet do in fact believe the Bible speaks of Zombies. I believe this is due to lack of knowledge and understanding or studying of the text. But google it I am sure you will be amazed at the amount of talk about this. You can take a online course to become a minister that doesnt mean you are Ordained but you can still preach create a church and minister whatever you feel your just not allowed to marry or sign certificates etc,. So techincally anyone can become a minister.. online or whatever. Think this is one of the reasons why religion is breeding so many offshoots of Christianity or cults.

I have heard of the "you can become a minister online to perform a single wedding" but not so much along the lines you mentioned.
For the most part zombie wise that I've heard from people are either the movie!zombies or the type you hear about in Haitian and/or African cultures.
I'll be sure to google it soon. It's really surprising what's out there sometimes.
